I'm Drake Nailon, Photographer and Artist behind AutoFocusArts, I was born in Seattle and consider the Puget Sound area my home. Largely self-taught, I have studied fine art, industrial and fashion design. Through the lens of my camera I focus on images that will translate to canvas and paper.
I have had a lifelong passion for all things automotive. This love has shaped the direction my art has taken. I am compelled to capture the often-overlooked details and passion hidden in plain sight. I find beauty in the curves and shapes that create reflection and capture your attention and imagination as much as mine. My photos draw the eye to the subtle details that even the owners of the automobiles sometimes miss.

I playfully refer to my subjects as rolling sculpture, my work, automotive portraiture. I invite you to enjoy my timeless portraits of rolling historic, past and present.

I use many different mediums, such as photography, watercolour, acrylics, and collage. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
